The Peshawar High Court on Friday granted interim bail to Makhdoom Shahbuddin in the Ephedrine case. According to a private TV channel, Shahabuddin appealed the Peshawar high court on the non-bailable arrest warrants rather then the Islamabad High court for some unknown reasons and he was granted bail. Earlier, on Thursday the arrest warrant was issued after the Pakistan People’s Party nominated Makhdoom Shahabuddin for PM post.
