Malala awarded ‘Freedom of Expression Award’


London   - Child activist raising voice for female education and shot and critically injured by Taliban last year in Swat, Malala Yousafzai was given Freedom of Expression Award in the United Kingdom where she has started attending school after recovery. A simple and dignified ceremony was arranged by an organisation known as Index for giving award but Malala herself could not attend the ceremony. Malala’s father Ziauddin Yousafzai, received the ‘Freedom of Expression Award’ on behalf of his daughter.
