‘People to take to streets if Nato supplies restored’

MANSEHRA - Pakistan People’s Party-Sherpao, President, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao has said that the parliament had asked the US to seek pardon from Pakistan over killing of Pakistan Army soldiers in Silalal check post attack and stop drone attacks but none of the demands were met by the US so far.“If the US did not meet these preconditions and the government restored the Nato supply, people will have to take to streets,” Sherpao said while speaking to media men here on Tuesday. Sherpao earlier went to the residence of former commissioner Hazara division Riaz Khan and condoled with his family over his demise and offered pray for the deported soul. Sherpao said that parliament had laid own two highly important conditions for the reopening of the Nato supply routes but none could be accepted as yet by America and its allies. 

“The govt had stopped Nato supply by its own but now passing the buck to parliament. If supply is resorted without meeting the preconditions laid down by parliament the people would expel it out of the power,” warned Sherpao. He said that PPP and ANP governments have failed in center and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and government were committing the suicides because of the poverty and hunger. “The people are suffering the brunt of the large scale corruption of PPP and ANP in shape of price hike and energy crisis in the country,” said Sherpao.
