BAHAWALPUR - Islamia University, Bahawalpur Vice Chancellor (VC) Dr Muhammad Mukhtar has extended the last date for admissions to September 24, to accommodate maximum number of students.As per detail, the VC visited the admissions Cell at Abbasia Campus of the university, established for the guidance of admission seekers the other day.On the occasion, Dr Mukhtar said that the IUB had been providing all possible education and research facilities at all the three Campuses of Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan of the IUB.He said that admissions were open in 80 disciplines in both the under-graduate and postgraduate classes at IUB campuses, adding that online admissions facility had also been provided to ensure student outreach for admissions.The IUB VC claimed that response of the students and their parents towards the IUB education standards was satisfactory, adding that this could be gauged from the fact that the university had received more than 15,000 applications for admissions in different subjects.
