LARKANA – A schoolteacher filed a case against National Database Registration Authority here on Wednesday.
The plaintiff further said that she produced sufficient documentary proof consisting of her educational testimonials to establish that the actual name of the plaintiff’s father is Ghulam Taqi Jafferi and not Ghulam Naqi but despite that the defendant No:1 did not consider it and put the plaintiff in unnecessary litigation by asking her to get court decree.
She further contended that all the government servants shall get Sindh employees card and smart national identity card and they have been asked by the government to get such cards to hold the record of government employees transparent, otherwise they could not get their salaries.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) has condemned attack on a senior doctor. On the call of PMA Larkana chapter, the doctors of Chandka Medical College and Hospital boycotted their OPD duties and took out a protest rally from Civil Hospital which terminated outside the Press Club where they held protest demonstration.
The boycott was in protest against an attempt last night to kidnap a senior doctor from his private clinic in Larkana. Professors Saifullah Jamro, Khursheed Abbasi and Badar Junejo, Dr Shah Baig Chandio and Dr Ikram Tunio addressing the protesting doctors said one of their senior colleagues was attacked by unknown armed men when he was sitting in his private clinic examining patients. They further said that when the attackers failed in their criminal act, they tried to forcibly kidnap Dr Manzoor Ali Soomro, senior registrar of Paeds Medicine Department of Chandka Hospital but their bid was foiled by the staff of the clinic and the passers-by. The Pakistan Medical Association demanded foolproof security for doctors and arrest of the criminals.
