Interior Minister Rehman Malik Thursday said that the government is utilising all available resources to eliminate terrorism in the country.

The Minister said NADRA has issued four hundred and eighty-three thousand Smart National Identity Cards in a short period of six weeks.
He said there are more than ninety-six per cent registration in NADRA for National Identity Cards.
Talking to newsmen in Islamabad‚ the Interior Minister directed the mobile phone companies to provide bio-metric system at their franchise up to 28th of next month to block issuance of illegal SIMS.
He said requests have been received from Punjab‚ Sindh and Balochistan Governments for closure of mobile phone service in different cities tomorrow from seven in the morning to ten p.m. due to security reasons.
These cities include Sheikhupura‚ Nankana Sahib‚ Sialkot‚ Rawalpindi‚ Jhelum‚ Chakwal‚ Faisalabad‚ Sargodha‚ Rawalpindi‚ Karachi‚ Hyderabad‚ Khairpur and Quetta.
