4-week PST training workshop starts

NOORPUR THAL - The objectives of the Primary English Teacher Training (PETT) programme is to introduce innovative teaching strategies that and end blind academic concept with the classroom application.
This was stated by Cluster Training Support Center (CTSC) Tehsil In-charge Malik Muneer Hussain Kallu while addressing four week PST training workshop here the other day.
DTE NPT Hafiz Abdul Latif and prominent educationist Haji Attar Baig were also present on the occasion.
PETT is an in-service professional orientation programme developed by Punjab directorate of staff development and sponsored by British Council, he said.
Kallu also lauded the efforts of master trainers Malik Sher Bahadar, Imran Abbas Bhatti, Shahid Iqbal, Zamir Hussain, DTEs Malik Alamsher, Malik Muhammad Ziad, Malik Muhammad Din Saggu and Malik Zahoor Hussain for training workshop of PST Tehsil Noorpur Thal.
“It will certainly strengthen the communication skills of the PST teachers so that they can profoundly achieve the objectives of their teaching”, he added.  He also urged the teachers to come forward and participate in the teacher’s training programmes as it would help in sharpening the teachers teaching skills.
Fire destroys bank office: A fire broke out in the branch of a private bank within the limits of City Police here the other day.
According to Fire Brigade, the fire broke out in the branch of private bank due to a short circuit and the fire engulfed many important record and computer.
The local Fire Brigade Department extinguished the fire.
