SARGODHA - Civil Judge Tariq Ayoub has cancelled the bail of former PML-N Member of Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Rizwan in a lawyer’s torture case and issued warrant for his arrest.
According to case details, the police registered a case against the former on September 6, 2011 on charges of thrashing his rival Advocate Syed Azharul Haq Sherazi and during this incident the accused blackened his face.
The accused was recently released on bail after three months jail but could not appear in the court during the last hearing. 
Suspects held: In various raids, the district police arrested a number of suspects involved in different cases. The police arrested Bilal Rajput on the charges of drug peddling, and Abdul Ghafoor, Shahzad, Abu Bakar, Shaukat, Hassan Imtiaz Sahi for carrying illicit arms.
Moreover, Kotmomin police arrested a proclaimed offender namely Tanvir Sheikh of Lalyani wanted in robbery case. He had depriving a cabby of his vehicle on June 10, 2011 on gunpoint at Moazamabad.
