Power outages continue in Sehr, Iftar

MANDI BAHAUDDIN - Amid hot and humid weather, unscheduled power cuts have made life miserable in the district. It is hard to bear the heat and frequent power cuts are making the situation worse.
Munir Gondal, a resident, said that the government announced that there would be no loadshedding at Aftaari till Travi prayers and at Sehri time as well. But in fact, the situation is entirely different.
Even during short intervals when power is restored, it is tripped off after every two minutes and this phenomenon has caused a lot of damage to electronic appliances of consumers.
Arshad, who belongs to rural area, said that now the people were tasting the negative results of democracy.
He said the rulers were not concerned with welfare of the public and according to him it was useless now to lodge any protest over unavailability of electricity.
