The visit of Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar to Bangladesh, scheduled for October 25, has been postponed due to some unavoidable reasons, said Bangladeshi Foreign Ministry Director General Mashfee Binte Shams. “She was scheduled to visit Dhaka to invite the Prime Minister to attend D-8 summit, but Pakistan informed us that she cannot come,” she told bdnews24.com.
This would have been the highest level visit by any Pakistani official during the regime of the Awami League-led Grand Alliance government.
