HAFIZABAD - The post of anaesthetist has been lying vacant in DHQ Hospital for the past several weeks as a result of which the patients are being fleeced by the private practitioners. The Patient Welfare Society has called upon the authorities concerned to fill in the post immediately in the best interest of the poor patients.
Moreover, there is no Lady Doctor who can conducted autopsy of female dead bodies as a result of which people are compelled to take the dead bodies of their dear ones for post-mortem to Pindi Bhattian. The local people demand the provincial government to take notice of the situation and appoint Lady Doctor who can conduct autopsy of female dead bodies.
Teachers promoted: The Departmental Promotion Committee at it meeting, held here Thursday under the chairmanship of Executive District Officer Education Dr Muhammad Naeem Iqbal, has promoted 73 Primary School Teachers (PST) to Elementary School Teachers (EST) with immediate effect.
While giving promotion letters to the teachers, the EDO has directed them to perform their duties with the aim to improve the standard of education. He assured that promotion of the teachers would be made without any delay.
