As many as 14 blasts dealt damage to the railway tracks on different places across Sindh; however, they were repaired into functioning again.

After the restoration of tracks, the trains held back at Karachi stations were sent to their destinations.
Talking to a private television channel, DS Railways Zafarullah Kalhoro said Awan Express was stopped back at Karachi Cantt station and Hazarah Express at Landhi Station in the wake of explosions ripping the rail tracks apart.
However, Zafarullah continued, that Awan and Hazarah Express have been sent to their respective destinations after the tracks were repaired.
The DS also told Sukkur and Pakistan Expresses leaving from Karachi, which were halted back following the rampant explosions, have also been allowed journey to their respective destinations after the railroads were put back in working conditions.
It should be mentioned here that, at least 14 blasts occurred on railway tracks at different locations – from Karachi to Sukkur city – early on Saturday, completely suspending the railway traffic.
No group has so far claimed the responsibility.
Police said the blasts took place near Karachi, Hyderabad, Kotri, Nawabshah (Benazir Abad), Padidan town in Sukkur division, damaging the rail tracks.
No causality, however, took place in Saturday’s volley of explosions.
Authorities said eight blasts hit the railway tracks near Setharja, Ghotki and Panu Aqil towns, two explosions each near Hyderabad’s Qasimabad area, Kotri city and Bin Qasim town near Karachi.
Bomb Disposal Squad arrived at the scenes and collected evidences. According to BDS personnel, the blasts were caused by a highly explosive substance.
