HYDERABAD  – Sindh Education Minister Pir Mazharul Haq has said that he had not given any statement that the Pakistan People’s Party would not allow anyone to construct a university in Hyderabad.
He added that his statement was twisted and tries to create differences between the Pakistan People’s Party and Muttahida Qaumi Movement.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Pir Mazhar said that he upgraded Sir Ziauddin, Baqai University and others after making legislation in Sindh Assembly.  He said that Hyderabad was his city and several grave of his ancestors were in Hyderabad. He added that the government would construct more three or four universities in Hyderabad. He requested the Muttahida Qaumi Movement leaders to not focus on such fake statements.
