ISLAMABAD - The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has formed a special cell for the verification of degrees of parliamentarians. The candidates can only contact special cell, comprising senior officials of HEC, while the degree will immediately be given back after verification. According to sources, more than 200 lawmakers haven't submitted their degrees for verification.
Meanwhile, the election commission has summoned a high-level meeting on February 28. The session will review the working of commission while issue of degrees verification will also be discussed in the meeting.
