Islamabad - Jamiat Ulema Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has offered his services to mediate talks with the Taliban. Speaking to a private TV channel, Fazlur Rehman said:“If the government gives him complete authority, he is ready to mediate talks with the Taliban. He said that the Taliban offer of talks should be considered seriously. He said that all parties conference of the ANP ‘is meaningless’.Taliban leader Hakimullah Mehsud had offered his willingness to talks in a video message.
