Pak films festival starts

ISLAMABAD – For the revival of film industry and cinema the Pakistan National Council of the Arts, Ministry of National Heritage and Integration, has started the Pakistani Film Festival 2013 from Thursday and will continue till 31st.

PNCA Director General Tauqeer Nasir informed the media while addressing a press conference here on Thursday that the council would screen seven Pakistani movies to help revive interest in Pakistani films. He said that the step would help people get access to entertainment and watch Pakistani movies free of charge as there is no cinema in Islamabad.
Following Pakistani films will be screened at PNCA Auditorium F-5/1, Islamabad ‘Ik Gunnah Aur Sai’ on January 24, 2013 at 5:00 pm, ‘Muhabtan Sachiyan’ on January 26, 2013 at 2:00 pm, ‘Heer Ranjah’ on January 27, 2013 at 2:00 pm, ‘Koi Tuj Sa Kahan’ on January 28, 2013 at 5:00 pm, ‘Ye Dil Aap Ka Huwa’ on January 29, 2013 at 5:00 pm, ‘Bulandi’ on January 30, 2013 at 6:00 pm, ‘Jhoomer’ on January 31, 2013 at 3:00 pm.
