SHEIKHUPURA - Various diseases are spreading fast here in the city and its adjoining areas as butchers are selling unhygienic and sick animals meat. The locals in general and welfare societies representatives in particular have been raising hue and cry to bring the attention of the authorities concerned towards potential threat to the public health. They alleged that the butchers were not only play havoc with the health of the public but would also looting them both hands by selling meat at exorbitant prices.The district administration, despite host of complaints has failed to initiate any action against butchers,” they pointed. They demanded the authorities to take stern action against the butchers were selling diseases and playing with public health.
