KABUL - Afghan President Hamid Karzai in a message addressed to Raja Parvez Ashraf congratulated him on his election as the new Prime Minister of Pakistan.

The message said that Afghanistan and Pakistan have many common bonds and the same destiny in this region as both the countries are facing the same threat and they can by utilising the available opportunities take steps for prosperity of their people.
Terrorism and extremism are our common threat so we should together struggle against it, he said.
