Nawabshah bus ambush kills 7; President takes notice

At least seven people were killed and many more were wounded when unknown gunmen opened fire on a bus here in Nawabshah on Friday, police said.

According to the details, the attack took place on National Highway near Qazi Ahmed locality of Nawabshah.
According to the reports, the bus was on its way from Karachi to Abbottabad when some unidentified armed persons opened fire on the bus.
At least seven persons were killed while many others were injured in the incident.
After the incident, the dead and the wounded were shifted to nearby government-run hospitals.
The investigations into the incident have been started.
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari has taken notice of the incident of firing on a coach that has resulted in loss of seven lives and injuring others.
While condemning this brutal act of firing on a passenger bus, the President has called for a report into this unfortunate incident and has directed to bring culprits to justice.
He expressed his grief and sympathies with the bereaved families and prayed for the departed souls.
