Two woman among eight perish in mishaps, violence

JHANG - At least eight people including two women were killed and seven other sustained injuries in separate incidents here in various areas of Jhang during the past 48 hours.

As per detail, 25-year-old Haider Ali was hit by an speeding hiace passengers van near Sufi Morr when he was crossing Jhang-Chiniot Road. Resultantly, he breathed his last instantly. The Jhang City Police have registered a case.
In another incident, one Naseem Bibi, a resident of shorkot City was shot dead by his real brother identified as Muhammad Iqbal over a petty family dispute. The Shorkot City Police have registered a case against the accused.
Similarly, one Muhammad Ali died while five other passengers sustained critical wounds when a hiace passenger Van (LXZ -1149) collided with a divider on Jhang-Chiniot Road. Resultantly, Muhammad Ali died on the spot and the injured were admitted to DHQ Hospital.
In another incident, Ghulam Abbas, a cotton factory owner, a resident of Mauza Gilkala in the Garh Maharaja Police precincts, was shot dead by unidentified armed men. He was on the way to Adda Sharifabad along with relatives Aqeel Ahmed and Shafiq Ahmad. He died instantly and his both relatives received serious bullet injures and were admitted to DHQ Hospital. The Garh Maharja Police have registered a case.
Meanwhile, one Mazhar Hussain, a resident of Chak 268 situated in the remit of Sattlite Town Police was killed when his motorcycle was hit by a speeding tractor-trolley. The Satellite Town Police have registered a case.
Similarly, in two separate incidents, 9-year-old Sajjida Bibi, a resident of Siddiqia Colony and a labourer Ali Ijaz, a resident of Muhallah Hussainabad were electrocuted.
In yet another incident, one Fasial Hayat, a resident of Ward No-1 Jhang city committed suicide by shooting himself over on a petty family dispute.
