ISLAMABAD - The Election Commission of Pakistan on Monday clarified that any person holding dual nationality cannot become party chief.
The ECP reviewed a petition filed against the agreement signed between the government and Tahirul Qadri.
Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) took the stance that Dr Tahirul Qadri did not hold any position in the party.
Following this, Engineer Jalil Malik withdrew his petition against PAT.
Meanwhile, the ECP dismissed a petition filed for the disqualification of Sardar Yar Muhamamd Rind.
