Atleast six persons died while 44 sustained severe injuries in a collision between bus and truck on Tuesday.

According to reports, a bus of Al Madina Company bearing registration Number T-1179 was heading to Sialkot from Hasilpur route. When it was overtaking another bus across the road it collided with non-functional Trailer bearing number Plate SA-3485 resultantly six persons died on the spot while 44 sustained severe injuries.
Upon receiving information, the rescue 1122 teams reached the scene and rushed the injured personals into District Headquarters hospital at Sahiwal for medical aid the 9 more persons are also stated to be in critical condition.
The deceased have been identified as Bus driver Afzal, conductor Safdar Ali, Rizwan, Muhammad Yaseen while two dead bodies could not be identified as yet.
Police has registered the case and started through investigation.
Meanwhile, Police also claimed that scores of children and women also wounded in this road mishap.
