Teacher torture case: ATC Sargodha adjourns hearing till June 01

Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Sargodha adjourned hearing of violence against teacher case till June 01. ATC took up for hearing the case of breaking the legs of a school teacher, Nafees Khan by former MPA Aslam Madhiana on Saturday. Aslam Madhiana and his companions were produced in the court under strict security measures. Counsels of both the parties appeared in the court. During Saturday’s hearing, statement of another witness ASI Muhammad Sarfraz was recorded after which both counsels started cross questioning session with all the witnesses including ASI Atta Muhammad, constable Imtiaz, ASI Muhammad Sarfraz and SHO Midh Ranjha. After the completion of arguments, Judge Mian Anwar Nazeer adjourned the hearing till June 01 and directed to produce other witnesses in the next hearing. A statement of four out of 26 witnesses has been recorded so far.
