islamabad - President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday pleased to appoint Rasheed Ahmed, a BS- 22 officer of the Secretariat Group, as Chairman of Pakistan Electronics Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA). According to a press release issued here, he was appointed as Chairman of PEMRA for a period of four years with an immediate effect. Currently, he was posted as a Secretary Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
