DPO vows to shrug off any pressure

RAJANPUR - DPO Muhammad Shahzad Asif has said that the district police will not tolerate any pressure and will deal the criminals with iron hands.

Nobody will allowed to carry any weapon whether he is elected or unelected as security of the common man, his honour and property is the duty of the police.
He was talking to media here the other day.
The DPO cautioned that Karo-kari and trafficking of women for both Balochs or non-Baluch was equally illegal.
He vowed to purge the police of corrupt and negligent officials, saying there was no room for black sheep in the department. Jampur DSP Mahar Khadim Husssain and SHOs including Sanaullah Mastoi, Syed Zahid Hussain Shah, Muhammad Ali Khan, Bilal Aslam Khosa, Zulfeqar Qureshi, were present on the occasion.
Police wake up against obsess cops: The DPO woke up to enforcing the directives of Punjab IG to overcome obesity among police officers which is considered as a blot on the face of Police Department.
Punjab Inspector General (IG) Habibur Rehman issued directives to officers to lose weight and maintain waist up to 38 inch.
Following the directive, DPO Dr Muhammad Shahzad Asif had given a deadline to obese officials to conform to the law.
“Overweight officials can’t go after outlaws properly,” he added. “Police officials are joining gyms, jogging and doing other workout to maintain their physique,” sources claimed.
