SAHI WAL - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sahiwal District Organiser Shakeel Ahmad Khan Niazi congratulated party Chief Imran Khan upon staging a successful sit-in in Karachi in protest against the American drone attacks in tribal area. During a press conference the other evening, he said that only the PTI chief had raised voices against drone attacks and termed that the attacks were damaging national sovereignty. He said that Imran Khan creating the sentiments of patriotism among the young generation. Shakeel Khan further said that the PTI chief bold step is the voice of the nation against drone attacks. He further added that Imran has proved that the government and parliament has become helpless and failed to fulfill their national responsibilities. He said that the masses should get ready for their protection because government writ has been totally failed. The PTI leader severely condemned the terrorists attack on the PNS Mehran Base in Karachi and expressed his profound sorrow and grief over the loss of lives of brave officers and soldiers of the Navy and Rangers. He further stated that penetration of a few terrorists into such an important and sensitive defence installation is not only a matter of grave concern for the entire nation but is also strange. He said that attack on Mehran Base was the result of security lapse and negligence of the authorities concerned and Interior Minister only issues statements. PTI District General Secretary Imran Ibrahim, District Information Secretary Syed Rizwan Shah, Ahmad Qayyum, Khalid Saleem and Imran Khan Ghazali were also present on the occasion.
