PESHAWAR
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister Bashir Ahmed Bilour has said that his government has decided to hold local bodies elections in November. Talking to a private TV channel here on Saturday, Bashir Bilour said keeping in view the ongoing situation and public demands, local bodies elections would be held in November.
He said the demands for LB elections could not be fulfilled immediately as it would take some time to complete the paperwork and other arrangements.
Bilour said that the Awami National Party (ANP) has reservations over the share of province in the resources. The ANP leader alleged that the federal government was not regularly paying the net profit of the hydro electricity of the province and other arrears, adding to its financial woes.
