Curfew after communal clashes in India

LUCKNOW - Curfew was imposed in Indian city of Faizabad following communal clashes after two people were killed in the violence, reported Indian media on Friday.
The district police officials said curfew has been imposed in Kotwali and Cantonment police station area and vigil was being maintained in other areas of the city. The killings follow communal clashes in Hyderabad a day earlier in which a number of people injured.
IG (Law and Order) BP Singh said two persons died in the communal clash in Faizabad.
Durga Prasad a native of Faizabad was stabbed with scissor by the anti-social elements. In a separate incident, Mohammed Umar resident of Inayatpur village died in a group clash.
The violence broke out between the two communities during Durga idol immersion in the chowk area of the city. Nearly two dozen shops and several vehicles were put on fire.
