ISLAMABAD - The Cabinet Committee on Regularisation has decided to regularise the services of 3,595 employees of different government departments in the country presently working on contract, daily wages and special service agreement (SSA).

A total of 504 contract employees have been regularized in Basic Education Community Schools (BECS) while 3 employees of National Education Foundation were also confirmed.
In addition the committee, in light of the government minimum wages policy, increased the salary of teachers working under NCHD and BECS to Rs. 8000 a month. A total of 10937 teachers are employed in NCHD while 13213 working at BECS.
