TIMRGARA - Vice Chief of Jamaat-i-Islami and former senior minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sirajul Haq was released from district jail Timergara after a brief detention, official sources told TheNation here on Wednesday.

Three other local leaders including Izazul Mulk Afkari and Hidayatur Rahman were also charged in the case. However, Idayatur Rahman had got bail before arrest from the court while Sirajul Haq and Izazul Mulk had not contacted the court. After the judge’s order, the JI leader was sent to Timergara jail but later he was released on bail by the court of district and Sessions Judge Peer Bakhash, a source in the jail said.
