Abbasi for steps to address outages issue

AHMEDPUR EAST - A large number of residents registered their protest against the unscheduled loadshedding with Bahawalpur National Awami Party (BNAP) Chief Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi here in tehsil Ahmedpur East.

As per detail, protectors arrived at Sadiq Garh Palace and complained to Nawab Abbasi that they were suffering from 18 to 20 hours long loadshedding which had badly disturbed their business. Nawab Abbasi listened the protestors’ complaints and phoned to MNA Arif Aziz Sheikh for the addressel of public complaints. On the occasion, the MNA assured the BNAP chief that he would hold a meeting with Federal Minister for Water and Power in Islamabad for the solution of the issue on priority basis. The protectors also brought his attention towards the attachment of Derawar Cholistan area with Dera Nawab Sahib Feeder and termed it a reason for the worst outages in the area.
