ALABAD On the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, as many as 7283 allotment certificates of 5 marla plot each is being distributed among the shelterless families of rural areas of the district today under the Jinnah Abadies scheme.
The necessary arrangements have been finalized in this regard. This was disclosed by DCO Naseem Sadiq here on Friday. Giving details, he informed that 1950 allotment certificates of 5 marla plots were being distributed in tehsil Sadar while 1949 allotment certificates would be distributed in tehsil Chak Jhumra, 1582 in tehsil Jaranwala, 1191 in tehsil Tandlianwala and 611 in tehsil Samundri. He said that MNA Begum Khalida Mansur would be chief guest in the allotment certificate distribution ceremony at Chak Jhumra while MPAs Ch Raza Nasrullah Ghumman and Sardar Dildar Cheema would distribute allotment certificates among shelterless and poor families of Sadar.
MPA Shahid Khalil Noor would be chief guest in allotment certificates distribution ceremony at Samundri, MPA Rai Ijaz Kharal would be chief guest in the ceremony of Jaranwala. The DCO said that the 5 marla plot each would be distributed among the shelterless families of the rural area which had been selected through balloting of the applications and entire process of the allotment had been completed transparently under the prescribed policy. He said that the Assistant Commissioners concerned would coordinate to successful holding of the allotment certificate distribution ceremonies.
