Two containers torched in Wadh

QUETTA - Two empty Nato containers were set on fire in Wadh area of Khuzdar District, some 360 kilometres away from provincial capital, on Thursday.
According to a police official Noor Muhammad of Wadh Police Station, the Nato containers were returning to Karachi from Chaman after supplying goods to Nato forces deployed in Afghanistan, when unknown armed men riding a motorcycle opened firing and set them on fire in Wadh.
Resultantly, both containers were completely destroyed and one of the drivers of the container sustained injures. Police rushed to the spot soon after the incident and cordoned off the area.
The injured was shifted to the nearby hospital for treatment. The injured was identified as driver Shafiq-ur-Rehman. The case has been registered against the unknown persons and investigation is underway.
