ECP displays computerized voter lists

Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday displayed initial draft of computerized voter lists.

According to ECP, initial drafts of computerized voter lists containing names of 83.28 million voters were put on display in various centers all over the country on Wednesday morning.
The massive electoral rolls, which include names of 47.3 million male and 36.9 million women voters, have been displayed at more than 50,000 public places in the country.
The Chief Election Commissioner has issued the instructions to incharges of display centers and an SMS service  is also being started for the confirmation of the registration of vote.
According to the instructions, every display center would provide a chance to every family to check the information of family members and the forms for correction and objections on any name would be available at display center for voters. The display centers would remain opened from 9:00am to 5:00pm daily including Sunday. The ECP has directed to the incharges of display centers to assist the visitors.
