QUETTA - President National Party (NP), Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, has demanded for a transparent investigation into the corruption supposedly committed by former Ministers in Balochistan government.
“Parties included in the dismissed provincial government which are making hue and cry against imposition of Governor Rule are actually worried because their game has flopped,” he added. He expressed these views while addressing a Press conference flanked by former leader of Jamhoori Watan Party, Yousuf Notezai at Quetta Press Club, on Monday. Yousuf Notezai alongwith his companions, including Mir Ghulam Haidar Bugti, Asif Bramdagh Bugti and Mir Ismail Marri announced to join NP.
Dr.Abdul Malik Baloch welcomed Yousuf Notezai alongwith his companion in NP and said that imposition of Governor Rule was the result of misdeeds of former Ministers who miserably disappointed the masses. “We demand Governor to take stern action against corruption ,otherwise, there would be no concept of good governance in the province,” he said, adding, that NP also demands National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to conduct transparent probe into corruption of ex-Ministers and take stern action against those who are found guilty. Responding to a question, Baloch said that some people were propagating that a conspiracy was being hatched to bring NP into power was absolutely wrong and baseless. “NP would never support any unconstitutional move or to derail democracy.
Balochistan National Party (Awami) and JUI-F after making record corruption in the past 10 years being part of governments are actually wanted to hide their corruption” he said.
The previous provincial government did not deliver to the masses due to which its own PPP central government declared it incompetent, he added.
Earlier, former leader of JWP Yousuf Notezai said that Baloch leaders and workers demonstrated courage and bravery because it had become prohibited for them to take part in politics.
He said that Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti laid down his life for the rights of Baloch people.
