May 29, 2012

SAHIWAL - PTI leader Mian Anwarul Haq Ramay said that the PPP has a long history of violation of the Constitution, adding that it has lost its honour in the eye of the law after violating the Supreme Court verdict.

Talking to the media, he said that during the present regime of the PPP, all the national institutions had reached on the verge of destruction. He further said that problems being faced by the Pakistan Steel Mills, PIA, Railways and OGDC were at their peak while budget deficit of Pakistan was increasing with every passing day.
He added that difference between export and import is blowing out of proportion. Anwar Ramay further said that loadsheeding of electricity has paralised the country’s agricultural and industrial development. He said that the PPP-led government had tarnished the image of the country. He also criticised the proposed reopening of Nato supplies, saying that the government had made a deal in the martyrs’ blood.
He was of the view that National Assembly Speaker Fehmida Mirza abused his power regarding the prime minister case. He said that the federal government was providing protection to and patronising corrupt elements in its ranks. He said that the incumbent rulers were struggling to save their vested interest by ignoring the interests of the masses.
