Pakistan's Ambassador to Washington Sherry Rehman congratulating Senator John Kerry on his confirmation as the US secretary of state said her country looks forward to working with him.

In a statement she said Pakistan looks forward to working with Senator Kerry and his team at a time of challenging transitions for the region.
The Pakistan envoy said John Kerry is a good friend of Pakistan and Obama Administration relied heavily on him whenever Pak-US relationship dipped low.
Current US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is completing her term on Friday while Senator John Kerry will succeed her.
