FAISALABAD - A poverty-stricken man committed suicide after killing his wife and five children in Faisalabad in the remit of Khurianwala Police on Tuesday.Fifty five-year-old Qasim, a resident of 109village near Jaranwala Road was facing severe financial constraints and was mentally upset for a long time.After having a wrangle with his wife Asia, he shot her dead along with their five children, Asif, 18, Mariam,7, Ali Raza 6, Riaz, 4, and one and a half year old Ayesha and then committed suicide.  The locals informed the police about the incident which shifted the dead bodies to the Allied Hospital for autopsy.Police said that it appeared to be a case of killings and suicide but real motives behind the killings would be determined after post-mortem.However, SSP Operations Sadiq Dogar told media persons that during investigation, it was revealed that a man named Qasim shot dead his wife and five children first and later shot himself. He said the incident occurred due to domestic dispute. He further added that the deceased woman named Asia was Qasim's second wife and he suspected her character due to which the incident occurred.
