LALAMUSA - Two brothers, who were seriously injured in an armed clash, died in hospital. Their family staged a sit-in as a protest on GT Road in front of Saddar Police Station and blocked the road for two hours.
Two groups of Mohallah Rural Sardarpura had a dispute over the possession of a pigeon. The Syed Group attacked Jogi Group, wounding Shabir, Zameer, Zareef, Tanveer and , Munir.  They were shifted to Lalamusa Trauma Centre where Shabir succumbed to wounds. While Zameer was shifted to a Lahore hospital in critical condition, Later, he also expired. Kaleem and Naseem of Syed Group were also injured who were admitted to CMH Kharian.
The deceased’s family staged a protest, demanding immediate arrest of the culprits.
Man gets death in murder case : - Additional District and Sessions Judge Raja Ghazanfar Ali Khan awarded death sentence to Riasat Ali, a resident of Jani Chak here the other day.
According to prosecution the convict had killed his opponent in 1999. The court after hearing case sentenced him to death.
