ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf on Thursday said that his Government would never compromise on transparency and good governance.

The Prime Minister made these observations while taking notice of a news item appearing in a section of media regarding non-transparency in the auction of commercial plots in Blue Area by Capital Development Authority.
He held a meeting with Cabinet Secretary Nargis Sethi and Chairman CDA Engineer Farkhand Iqbal at the Prime Minister’s House to ascertain facts of the case.
After discussing the matter in detail, the Prime Minister directed that the process of auction be held in abeyance and that the Cabinet Secretary submit a detailed report within three days covering all aspects of the said auction.
