Malik Ishaq sent to jail on judicial remand

Leader of the banned outfit Malik Ishaq has been sent to jail on 14-day judicial remand. Malik Ishaq was presented before the court of judicial magistrate in Model Town area of Lahore amid tight security. The public prosecutor told that Malik Ishaq violated the travel ban and held provocative speeches at different places. The case has been registered against him in Nishtar Colony Police Station. After hearing the arguments of the lawyer, the court issued directives to send Malik Ishaq on two-week judicial remand to jail. Malik Ishaq, leader of banned outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ), was arrested at the Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore on Thursday, upon his return from Saudi Arabia after performing Umrah.
