SHOs told to nab peddlers, not addicts

SADIQABAD - The district police officer of Rahim Yar Khan has directed the sub divisional police officers and the station head officers of the district to bring bigwigs of drug peddlers instead of addicts to book, besides nabbing proclaimed offenders involved in heinous crimes.
During a crime meeting, the DPO flanked SP (Investigation) Sheraz Khan further directed for conducting raids to arrest proclaimed offenders from their hideouts and registering cases against them. He also asked the officials monthly medical check-up and vaccination for hepatitis C be carried out. The police offices were further directed to leave nothing undone to comprehend all the proclaimed offenders especially involved in flagitious crimes in the district and present in the respective courts. The meeting was attended by the personal assistant and the reader to the DPO, the media spokesperson as well.
