ISLAMABAD - Additional Secretary Industries Agha Nadeem, a grade-22 officer of the DMG group, has been appointed as Federal Secretary Information. A notification to this affect was issued by the Establishment Division on Wednesday. He replaces Ch Rashid Ahmad who has been appointed as Chairman PEMRA. Agha Nadeem had been performing his duties as Additional Secretary with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Industries Ch Parvez Elahi for the last two years. He had also held the post of Provincial Secretary of different departments when Ch Parvez Elahi was Punjab CM. Earlier he had been Deputy Commissioner Gujrat. He was promoted to Grade-22 last month.
