ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Muslim League (N) is most likely to stage its sit-in outside the Parliament House on Monday (4th February), which the party has already announced for strengthening Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP)."PML-N has almost decided to stage sit-in on next week (Monday), which will be participated by other political forces as well," sources in PML-N shared with TheNation. The major opposition party before reaching to any consensus for expected sit-in will also hold meeting a day before the sit-in, they said. Unlike the recent sit-in of TMQ chief Dr Tahirul Qadri in the federal capital, the sources said, the PML-N’s sit-in will not be longer as the political parties members will march from parliament to election commission. It is relevant to mention here that PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif last week had decided to stage a sit-in in front of the Parliament, in continuation of a joint sit-in staged in Karachi by all opposition parties for a stronger and more independent ECP and carrying out the voters verification process under Army's supervision as directed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan. When contacted, PML-N spokesman Asim Khan Niazi said the date for sit-in would soon be decided. "Party will decide it in coming days to hold sit-in which will be in continuation of a joint sit-in staged in Karachi," he added.
