BAHAWALPUR - Islamia University Bahawalpur Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Mukhtar said that the exchange and interaction of researchers and academicians from the developed world will help explore new venues and techniques for research.
He said that active participation in the academic and research activities stood testimony to the distinction retained by the IUB at international level. The VC was addressing a special ceremony held in the honour of senior faculty and researcher from Germany Dr Karl Wierer here at University College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, the other day. The VC said that faculty exchange programme and mutual cooperation at international level had encouraged the introduction of new trends in academic research for acquaintance of the faculty and students with the world’s best universities
On the occasion, Dr Karl Wierer also expressed his views. Later, certificates were distributed among the participants.
Dean Faculty of Science Dr Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, Research Director Dr M Asghar Hashmi, Planning and Development Director Muhammad Ali Wallana and University College of Agriculture and Environmental Science Principal Dr Moazzam Jamil also attended the ceremony.
