Munter, Khar discuss Afghan troops pullout

ISLAMABAD - US Ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter called on Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar on Wednesday.

Foreign Office spokesman told the media that they discussed issued related to bilateral relations, resumption of Nato supplies and regional situation, especially in Afghanistan.
The spokesman said that the foreign minister and the US envoy also discussed the situation in the face of troops drawdown from Afghanistan.
Relations between Washington and Islamabad further strained as a Pakistani tribal court handed down 33-year jail term to CIA agent Dr Shakil Afridi, who helped US trace Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad.
Chinese foreign minister on Tuesday came to Pakistan and called upon the world powers to recognise Pakistan’s sacrifices during war against terrorism.
