KAMOKE – Former Punjab health minister Muhammad Iqbal Gujjar said that Pakistan is passing through critical situation as the federal government was reluctant to obey the orders of the Supreme Court.
Talking to this scribe here the other day, he said that President Zardari was involved in Memogate scandal and he must resign. “Nobody among the present rulers in the federal government is sincere to the nation. Therefore, this government must resign without delay so that a new government could be formed for a better and prosperous Pakistan,” he said.
He said the policies of the government have brought the whole nation to the point of complete destruction and business community was forced to invest in Bangladesh instead of the country. He said that if Prime Minister Gilani would not implement Apex Court verdict, it would further aggravate the situation.
He said that the National Assembly speaker should send a reference of disqualification against the PM to the Election Commission. Talking about the Punjab government’s policies, he said that development activities initiated in Punjab during the last four years were unprecedented in the 64 years’ history of the country. He said that Shahbaz Sharif by serving the masses had proved himself worthy of the title of ‘Khadim-e-Aala’.
He said that the provincial government had laid a network of development projects across the province and besides cities, special attention has also been paid to the development of rural areas. He said that PML-N government was promoting education through laptop scheme by distributing 1,25000 laptops in educational institutions throughout the Punjab.
According to him, the Punjab government was working on cardiac centre in Wazirabad and soon it would start working.
