QUETTA – A power pylon of 220-kv was partially damaged in an explosion in Bolan district, some 40 km southeast of Quetta, on Tuesday.Levies officials said that unidentified people had planted explosives with electricity pylon in Ghitani area of Machh which went off with a huge blast, partially damaging the tower. However, no loss of life was reported in the blast. Following the incident, the power supply to different areas was suspended. The local administration rushed to the site after the blast and cordoned off the area. No group has claimed responsibility of the blast.
