The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) decided on Wednesday that candidates who would violate the election rules and regulations will be disqualified.

An important meeting, headed by Chief Election Commissioner Fakhruddin G Ebrahim, was held in Election Commission’s office in Islamabad.
The meeting was attended by the four provincial election commissioners and other officials of the EC.
The meeting also discussed the petition filed by the Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan pertaining to the election in South Waziristan.
