ISLA MABAD Quoting the news item regarding friendly relations between Pakistani and Indian envoys at UN published in TheNation on Monday, PML-Q legislator Marvi Memon has in the National Assembly said that the government at the same time should remember the human rights violations in the Indian occupied Kashmir. While Pakistani envoy Hussain Haroon did not exercise his right of reply on the Karishnas statement on Kashmir in a high-level debate in the UNGA and was enjoying good relationship with his Indian counterpart Hardeep Singh Puri in UN, the Indian forces, on the other hand, are continuously targeting Kashmiri youth, Marvi said in the National Assembly on Monday while waving the newspaper during the session. She suggested that a delegation comprising Parliamentarians and youth of all the four provinces and Jammu and Kashmir should visit the Line of Control (LoC) to express solidarity with the Kashmiri youth being thrashed and targeted by Indian forces in the Indian Occupied Kashmir. She said that the House had passed a resolution in the House against the human rights violations in the National Assembly but now the time is ripe to take some practical steps in this regard.
